How do you set up your calendar to remind you of things?

I use it at work all the time but at home it doesn't give me the option.

I have a calendar folder but it doesn't have a calendar in it.

It is outlook express from Windows XP version 2002.

Outlook Express doesn't have that feature.

Outlook that is part of Microsoft Office does.

I have microsoft outlook too.

Is there a reason I would have outlook express as my email inbox instead of microsoft outlook?

Is it easy to switch without screwing everything up?

Thanks for the help!

Some times the auto internet setup programs from Cox or Qwest use OE because everyone has that but not everyone has Office Outlook.

You should be able to import email and settings from Outlook Express pretty easy.

The only thing then is to set Outlook as the default e-mail program. You can find that under Internet options: Programs

Then right click task bar, properties. Start menu tab: click customize: change show on start menu to Outlook..

Ok I switched everything over and set outlook as my default email, but it is not giving me the "send" option in my tool bar.

I tried to customize the tool bar and add but it is not listed.

WTF?

Is there any way to hide appointments in this program?

I work from 7-4 and don't want people trying to scheduling appointments after 4. I can create a blank appointment from 4-5, but that looks stupid on my calendar. Is there any way to hide that or is there another option?

Tools: options: calendar options.

There you can set the days of the week and start and end times.
