Here's something that has been bugging me that maybe someone can solve.

I sent some emails months ago that were rejected for one reason or another so I got an error window pop up. But the same error window keeps popping up every time I send a new email or hit "Send Receive..". Its as if these emails that didn't work are stuck in there and Outlook keeps trying to resend them every time I do email.

HELP that window is driving me crazy! Anyone know how I can fix this?

MESA! :thud:
Are they stuck in your outbox? You would need to delete them from there.

I used to troubleshoot it back when I did internet support from 98-02 back and forth... really sucks.

When I was a NT/MSX admin, we had a few users with OL Express. Yuck and yuck.

Yeah, I was a NT/2000/OSX admin for about 9 months. I forced everyone to switch to Outlook. The owner was pretty pissed that we had to come up with the dough for the licenses.....

The message says "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks..."

Then below that there is a separate message for each rejected email:

"The message could not be sent because it was rejected by the server. The rejected email address was..."

I checked the Outbox and the rejected emails are not there. At this point, not sure where to clear them from.

Go to Tools/Accounts, click on the mail tab. Do you have more than one email account in there? If you have more than one, and you aren't using it, delete it.

Does you email server now require authentication ?

This is quite common now to stop spam using them as a relay

I don't know of servers anymore that don't require it.

No.

These were just bad email addresses I used. I got a digit wrong or something. So now they are stuck and I keep getting the pop up window with the error message...
