Owings to the DL

Melvin says it isn't bad but they're going to have to DL him because they are concerned of him reaggrivating it. They're leaning towards starting Petit on Sunday.

Dang, that sucks. I'm glad they are doing it the smart way though, I'd rather see him out 15 days than see him go out there and injure it even worse and be out even longer.

And, hopefully, it means his spot in the starting rotation will be made available for him when he gets off the DL.

Good move not demoting him to the bullpen or the Minors.
