San Diego junior bigman Jeremy Tyler has verballed to Louisville. Tyler said his final 5 was USC, UCLA, UCONN and Memphis.

Tyler was the top rated player in the entire class at one point but has been surpassed by several including Josh Smith who is the guy UCLA really covets in that class(a C like Tyler). Tyler recently made news when it was announced they're making a Hoop Dreams like documentary about him.

Most had him going to USC I'm sure they're somewhat disappointed although he had a lot of stuff around him just like Renardo Sidney.

What is it about LOU and troubled players, Derrick Caracter now Tyler. They will be talented though, with Samardo Samuels already in the fold.

Well if you listen to USC fans Tyler will ultimately be a Trojan they are claiming he just verballed because he finally got an offer and he'll ultimately do what Jeff Withey did and renege on Louisville and go to a Pac 10 school in his case USC(Withey of course picked UA).

Louisville is interesting they're very much on the same list as USC and Memphis for pursuing troubled players, Memphis seems to be changing that and going for less of those kids.
