I actually emailed Wilner when I saw that because I couldn't believe he put Abbott on the first team over Green but he actually had a pretty good argument for it. Green is not a particularly good defender, that's polite frankly he is pretty inconsistent at defense, while Abbott is a big part of a terrific zone. also, Green has complete freedom to shoot because Stanford is so offensively challenged they basically have 2 guys who can score, ASU is more balanced so Abbott doesn't get the same kind of freedoms. This shows in the FG% and 3 point % although to be fair, Green HAS to score for Stanford to win, Abbott has less pressure to carry the scoring load.
Seems weird that I'm not arguing for any UCLA player on that list but there is no argument, Lee is not deserving he has the numbers but not the overall impact and while I think you can make a case for Roll offensively, not defensively.
I think Honeycutt might have more longterm potential than Williams (Derrick might be an NBA tweener) but he's clearly not as good now.
