Yep, it's been miserable for the Pac 10 so far. And, don't be surprised if Cal loses tonight. A&M can pound the rock and those types of offenses have given Cal major problems this year.

I am looking forward to an entertaining game with Cal/Texas A & M. High scorer, I hope. I've got A & M in the pick 'em contest. I will be bouncing back and forth between Rutgers and this one. Love the Bowl season.

I think Cal probably WILL lose. I have this notion that Lynch is coming out, Tedford knows it, and he's going to try and decoy him tonight like he did against the Vols in the opener and it will backfire because Longshore has come up bad in every big game this year. Lynch is being evasive about it but you keep reading things locally suggesting Cal thinks Lynch is gone, and that leads me to suspect Tedford is going to try and show he can win without him.

Look at Cal since Lynch hurt both ankles and lost some explosiveness, totally different offense. I hope I'm wrong I hope Lynch goes nuts tonight and then says he's staying.

Very impressive game by Cal. Decent first half, 14-10 Cal. I thought the Aggies might wear them down in the second half, but it was totally the opposite. By far the most physical I've ever seen a Cal team under Tedford play.

And by far the best game Longshore has played in a meaningful game, first time he didn't come up short.

Defense was really good. as they said last night Cal loses 6 starters on defense, that's the big issue next year. If they get Lynch back the offense will be REALLY good, even without him, Forsett is good enough to make that offense good, but they have to replace their best DL(Mebane) best LB(Bishop) and best DB(Hughes).

Really nice to see the way Longshore played though if he matures next year Cal can be very good.

where are all the Pac-10 homers now? :)

Outside of Cal's win over a marginal A and M, the Pac-10 has just been beaten up and down the field and havent even been in some of these games.

Thought UCLA looked better than FSU in the first half then got outscored, what, 31-7? wow. Oregon got hammered and Oregon ST islosing to Mizzu right now. Sad.

Big East is 2-0 by the way....

Funny how when a Pac-10 team beats someone they are all of a sudden not good (despite AtM being clearly better than Kansas State who is the only notch in the Big East's belt when it comes to non-conference play) but whoever faces up against a Big East foe is all of a sudden a formidable opponent. Not to mention Pac-10 teams have already beaten BYU and Hawaii this year prior to bowl season which makes the bowl losses essentially moot when judging the conference as a whole.

When the Big East has a win as impressive as Cal's then perhaps you can run your mouth. Beating K-State and East Carolina so far does not quailfy, nor will any bowl opponent the Big East faces this year. Beat somebody with a pulse and then we'll talk.

That'll teach you to bash the pac 10 before the game is over! Pretty good comeback I was still mad about the late hit out of bounds on the punt return not being called but OSU took it down and won it anyways.

THAT was awesome !!

Gotta love a coach putting the game into the hands of his offensive line. Lot's guys will talk about doing that, but it's rare that you see someone actually DO it.

BTW, I'd still like the call even if he came up short.

Lighten up. You know the Pac-10 is USC and then everyone else, why deny it? The Hawaii and BYU losses are moot? Talk about homerism. You didnt just get beat by two very average teams, you got killed. Shouldnt have been in the same stadium against a WAC and a Mountain West team lol WOW. Pac-10 is weak outside of USC and once USC losses to Michigan you will end up a pathetic 2-3 with losses to the WAC, Mountain West, Big ten (who hasnt won a bowl game yet) and an FSU squad who was teatering on a losing season. sad...

Congrats on the big A&M win. Maybe next year you can get some big wins in the New Mexico Bowl, or the Motor city bowl. Hear Mid. Tennesse state is itching at a crack at Cal or ASU....

By the way, the Big east is undefeated and leading the bowl cup challenge. After they win the Gator and Orange bowl they will have completed the bowl sweep....

Yeah I guess. Nice comeback. Great call at the end of the game too.

The Big East still hasn't beaten anyone. I don't see you even arguing it. Talk about homerism.

I am not arguing that. The big east beats who it has to beat. We dont lose to Mountain west and WAC teams.

We beat ECU and K-State. we WON. I cant help the matchup, but when put in front of average teams, the Big East wins. When the Pac-10 goes up against average teams they lose.

Georgia Tech and WFU wins will be bigger than any win the Pac-10 has this bowl season.

A&M was ranked, GT wasn't. Not to mention GT lost their starting QB and West Virginia still barely won. USC is beating Michigan, a much better team than Wake Forest. So, this part of your argument is all wet.

I'll admit, I did not expect USC to completely dismantle Michigan like they did.

I agree figured USC would win, but not completely destroying UM again like they did in Navarre's last college game. Just complete control in the 2nd half.

huh? WVU didnt even have Slaton...you are joking right? GT was ranked 25 btw.

Obviously you havent seen GT before. Losing Reggie Ball was a blessing for them. Their backup had a great game

I've seen Georgia Tech a bunch. That was some piss poor defense by WV today, especially in the first half.
