People, get off Fitz about this!!! If Rod Graves would have reworked the contract in the middle of the season instead of trying in the last few weeks, we wouldn't bee in this situation. Remember earlier in the season when Graves tried to get extensions for Pace and Karlos? He should had the foresight to get Larry's done first!!!

buh bye pace. Don't get on graves for this one. Before the season Pace was a near bust. During the season he wasn't. We tried to sign him and him and his agent said no thanks. I say buh bye Pace. He will be missed, but as far as I'm conserned, if he didn't want to be here, then don't let the door hit you on the way out. Enjoy being on a team worse than the Cards.

We could have resigned Pace with the money we have available now. Not sure why we didn't, but think its a mistake. I bet he signed a 4 or 5 year deal, so a 4 or 5 mil cap hit, we could have done that.

Oh well another season of replacing starters with draft picks, happens every year, not sure why I thought it would be different this year.

I think he is a one season wonder, that has one SOLID season under his belt. He will be replace, and easily at that.

Has a solid year finally and bolts to Miami who is rebuilding and taking anything they can to come up with a foundation again. Pace is not worth discussing in my opinion because he was no pro bowler but players like Fitz and Dansby merit thread upon thread because they both make significant impact while on the field...Pace is a capgun in comparison.

In Graves defense though, he probably figured that making Fitz one of the highest paid players in NFL history would be enough for him, but his biggest mistake was underestimating Fitz's greed.

I don't actually blame Fitz for this particular event though, because no way the Cardinals would shell out $20 million for Calvin Pace, nor should they. I like Pace, but at that price, I would have let him walk as well. I blame Fitz for the fact that we have no shot at Faneca or anyone of any real value.
