The Green Bay Packers were sellers at Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline. Instead of moving to improve the current roster around an aging, generational quarterback talent, the Packers made a pair of trades with eyes on marginal improvements in the future. General manager Brian Gutekunst attempted to explain those decisions Wednesday, denying that there’s any message of what the deals mean for this season.
