The Green Bay Packers hosted Florida cornerback Jason Marshall on a pre-draft visit to Green Bay last week, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Teams are allowed to host up to 30 prospects on official visits before the draft. Packers Wire is tracking all of the team's visits here.
Marshall (6-0, 194) was a five-star recruit to Florida who ended up starting 39 games for the Gators over four seasons. He led the team in pass breakups in both 2022 and 2023 and was well on his way to accomplishing the feat again in 2024 when he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury after seven games. Marshall finished his collegiate career with two interceptions, 7.5 tackles for loss, 27 passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Marshall currently ranks as the No. 235 overall player on the consensus big board, making him a likely Day 3 or undrafted free agent option.
At the combine, Marshall ran the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds, hit 37.5" in the vertical leap and covered 10-5 in the broad jump -- giving him a Relative Athletic Score (RAS) of 9.42 out of 10.0. He did not do agility testing.
Marshall participated at the East-West Shrine Bowl, where Packers assistant coach Sean Duggan coached the off-ball linebackers.
While Marshall gave up only 27 catches into his coverage over the last two seasons, he did allow seven touchdown passes without an interception, and his passer rating against was above 115.0 in both 2023 and 2024.
The Packers could see Marshall as an experienced and athletic cornerback prospect worth developing as a Day 3 pick. The team will have a full evaluation on the player after hosting him in Green Bay for a visit, increasing his chances of landing with the Packers.
