Palm Bay's Jaida Civil has added another accolade for the 2024-25 season: The senior has been named 2025 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball.

Civil was also voted Class 4A player of the year and finished with 181 points and 14 first place votes to win the title of Miss Basketball. New Smyrna Beach's Olivia Olson received the second most points to end as runner-up in the Miss Basketball voting.

This season, Civil was also selected as a McDonald's All-American and helped the Pirates win their first state championship title. She averaged 18.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 3.3 steals per game.

Civil joins fellow Palm Bay Pirates Mikyla Tolivert as the only other Brevard County athlete to be named Miss Basketball. Tolivert received this honor in 2020.

Earlier this month, Civil was also named Gatorade Florida Girls Basketball Player of the year and is now in the running for Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Civil is slated to continue her basketball career at the University of Tennessee.
