'87 was our last year in St Louis, the strike year. We finished strong but didn't make the playoffs. Are you thinking of 1988?
And if we lose our final 4 games we don't deserve squat anyway.

Weren't the Cards 7-4 in 1988, their 1st season in AZ, only to lose their last 5 games after Lomax got hurt?

I will hit the panic button if we lose to Lambs next week and SF wins against Jets.

The "gost" of 1987 "I mean 1988". Have you stopped drinking since Thursday because your incredibly negative and irrational posts filled with misspellings are getting worse by the day.

Loyalty is working pretty well for me. I will continue to be "Loyal" to this team
Oh well, if you dont want to read it you dont have two. :D

This will keep the Cards hungry...there is a danger in clinching this early in the season..

With the Cardinals their is always a panic button :), and wtf buffalo you couldn't even score a measly td vs the 49ers pathatic....ugh. Aww well would rather clinch the division with a win than getting blown out.

The fact is things are getting better over there. They have a great coach that I truely believe in. If the Whiners make the right moves they will contend(maybe as soon as next year).

They'd better come out sharp against the Rams. That team is dangerous and won't be handing anything over to us without a fight. They played Miami close today, and they look like they are playing like they have nothing to lose. I've seen many a Cardinal team with only a few wins to their name in December, take a favored team out in some game that looked like a gimme. When you have nothing to lose like that you can't take any chances that are too long. You get to do whatever you want. And if you can foul up the season of a sworn enemy, that's a pretty sweet prize. Hopefully the Cardinals will be ready.

Mark it down. If the Cards lose at home to the Rams this week, I might give them up.
