Panthers suspend WR Smith for 2 games (AP)

The Carolina Panthers have suspended receiver Steve Smith two games for his involvement in a training camp fight with cornerback Ken Lucas. Smith will participate in preseason games and be allowed to practice with the team beginning Monday. He is a three-time Pro Bowl selection. Lucas left the practice field at Wofford College on Friday with ice over his left eye.
