Yo Yotes fans!

I am a regular on the Cards & Suns boards but thought I would ask you a couple of questions since I have tickets for the game on Sunday the 9th.

Do they have parking passes for the stadium like the Cards games?
If yes, are there any spare passes floating out there?
If not, how much is parking?
Where is the best spot to park?

Any tips for food in the arena?
Any tips period for making it a great night?

This will be my first game since they were in AWA. I fly in from Harrisburg on Thursday and plan to make this a great time!

Thanks in advance for your help guys! ;)

parking is easy - there are no required passes and there is no charge (there are preferred parking areas for certain ticket holders - but the majority of it is wide open)

as for making it a great night? - get there early, way early and see if any of the bars are running a happy hour special and fill up before going into the game

tons of options around the stadium with Yard House, Margaritaville, Saddle Ranch, Fox Sports Grill, some sushi places, etc

last night everything was packed at those spots so we went up to the Shout House, which was fairly empty - they had some drafts for $1.50 and the food was pretty good

as far as food inside the stadium, i usually don't get anything, but if I do it's usually the buffalo chicken fingers basket or some nachos ......... pretty basic fare, but solid

it's also pretty easy to get out of there

one tip for parking, if you take the 101 to glendale avenue and/or are coming W to E on glendale - avoid the first turn in - they often put those cars out to the side and it's a longer walk to anything

you can go to the next turn in and end up parking fairly close to the westgate bars/restaurants ......... last night I got there about 6 and ended up parking next to johny rockets .......... if you've never been I would highly recommend getting there earlier than that though

As stated above, parking is free. Part of the reason they give out passes it to make the hockey game fans park in the outer lots. The inner most lots around Westgate are for general parking for people dining at the restaurants, etc.

Regardless, plenty of spots and free parking.

Oops, I'm late.

Definitely go early and eat at one of the Westgate restaurants. The food in the arena leaves a lot to be desired. The Hooters chicken sandwich, macho nachos, Oggi's pizza and dippin' dots are the only things I consume there or even come close to recommending.

Parking is free and they have gotten much better at directing the traffic in and out of there. I used to park in the Cardinals NE lot, which was where my pass was last season. It's a fairly short walk to the arena from there.
