RIP Pat. Scary how fast time flies by. Pat was killed right after I moved here in '04. I remember hearing the sad news on the radio.

I hear the news that Prince or Bowie or some other famous person has passed away and I feel a bit sorry for them and their families. Pat Tillman's death caused me to break down and cry like a baby. So proud and yet so sad.

My 8 year-old son has seen me wear #40 since he was born, but just yesterday we talked about why. My wife and I are both 4th generation military so it means a lot that our kids "get it".

Doesn't even seem possible, I still have my PT pin & wear it on memorable occasions of him. I went to HS & played sports with Devil coach Todd Graham & he invited me up to his office after the Ducks game last year & got to walk thru Tillman Tunnel...what a chilling moment that was! My GF even was freaking out saying, "you know where we're at don't you"? Lol
