Anyone know what is going on with this kid? He has only pitched 5 innings all year, from what I can tell, and he hasn't pitched in quite a while. Anyone know why?

He is in Missoula which is short season A ball. Their season gets underway in a few weeks. He only pitched 5 games because he was drafted in June of last sesaon and didn't sign until August. I believe the last time I heard he was going to be converted to a reliever.

I swear, the DBacks have a monopoly on bullpen folks. Terrible business, Joh Byrnes is on my last nerve. No more money spent until there is a high level move made with the club.

Wrong, he wasn't assigned to Missoula until after the draft 2010....He started their first game on June 21st followed by a second on June 26th(and a win)..
According to Tommy Allision's interview, scouting director, he was never seen as a reliever.
