The New England Patriots will reportedly hold a free agent press conference on Friday at 2:15 p.m. ET.
This could be an opportunity for them to introduce wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who signed with the team on Tuesday.
The Patriots held a similar press conference after their initial wave of free agent signings. So it would make sense for the team to do the same after agreeing to a three-year deal with Diggs. The four-time Pro Bowler is expected to serve as the new No. 1 target for second-year quarterback Drake Maye.
Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and even All-Pro cornerback Christian Gonzalez have reacted to the signing.
The Patriots have been one of the more aggressive teams in free agency, but their work to assemble the 2025 roster still isn't finished.
There are other potential free agent options the team could look at to fill other positions, and they are less than a month away from the 2025 NFL draft.
