It's a 3-year deal w/ NE. RT @MikeReiss: Per @mikejurecki, veteran safety Adrian Wilson has reached a contract agreement with the Patriots.

He's welcome to stay with me until he finds a new crib. I'll be looking out for him. I am very happy for him. The Pats will play AW to his strengths.

He is going to kick ass up there. Belicheck certainly knows how to get the best out of players in the secondary.

Wow. Well at least the contract ends before he ever has to play against us. :)

Good luck Adub!

Great news for Adub. Pats need a physical safety like him to toughen up their pansy secondary. Was good for both sides.

Wilson is still good enough to get a 3 year deal from one of the NFL's premier franchises but he's not good enough for one of the NFL's most woeful franchises?

Something doesn't add up.

Yep, I've been thinking this same thing since they signed him.

As much of a badass AW has been to for the fans and the organization, it was time to move on unfortunately.

Not because of any football related issues. It was strictly a money deal. And if they had enough $ to give Lorenzo Alexander 3 years, $9.5 million, $3 million guaranteed. They had enough $ to keep Adrian.

As much as I loathe the Patriots I will be rooting for them to win it all this year. If anyone deserves a ring it's ADub.

I'm sure they gave him a "real" 3-year-deal and not one of those phony baloney deals where the guy can be cut after the first year. Just saying..
