The New England Patriots receiver battle figured to be something worth monitoring in OTAs, minicamp and training camp. It is already shaping up to be fierce and fascinating. During the first practice open to the media this offseason on Tuesday, the Patriots were without two of their top targets on this year’s roster in Julian Edelman and Malcolm Mitchell during team drills.
