the script is one my favorite reads over the last couple years - it is actually a role tailor made for Ben Affleck - hope it's as good and clever as the script I read was.

I just meant it seems like a role he could actually play well - the guy was a good actor in Chasing Amy and Good Will Hunting - it just seems like good material for his acting ability and apparent attitude.

I saw this flim last night. It was a standard John Woo offering with some clever twists. It was entertaining enough to garner a Shockley Rating of Lays Original Potato Chips.

To put my rating system into perspective, LOTR (all three of them) would be Filet Mignon, Resident Evil would be Pork Rinds

The offer for the lead role went to Matt Damon first, but he had just done The Bourne Identity and he felt that doing another amnesiac flick so soon would be too much (for himself and for moviegoers), so he recommended Ben Affleck...and the rest is history.

It's nice how they watch out for each other...it does wonders to quell all those rumors that they are a homosexual couple...not that there's anything wrong with that...

I'm going to sneak out over lunch to see this one, I think. Not much going on in the office today.

Paycheck was possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Ben Affleck just sucks. There are certain roles that are good for him such as Kevin Smith movies, but that's about it.

We rented this finally on Friday...I heard it sucked, but we were bored.

Mao, this was indeed one of the worst movies I've seen...the plot was full of holes, the acting atrocious...

Case in point: Bullets flying around, Uma drops the envelope...says she has to go get it, runs off, Ben says be careful, and she joyfully yells "see ya!" while waving her hands in the air, all the while people are trying to shoot them...

Ugh, just beyond bad...

I dunno. I thought it was okay. You can't go into thee movies expecting them to be great--they're just for fun. I thought this one filled that role adequately. Time travel is always tough to do without any plot holes.

I rented this one a few weeks ago and before it started, I checked reality at the door.

With that in mind, I really enjoyed it, enough to watch it a second time.

I always enjoy watching Paul Giamatti, he plays a great schitso, troublemaker, paranoid, etc...

Ben Affleck was, well, Ben Affleck. When you watch one of his movies, you get what you should be expecting. Uma looked nice in parts and that helped too.

Mindless action flick.

For some reason, that made me chuckle.

I recently watched this one. I enjoy just about any movie that includes time travel, so even though this wasn't a very good movie, I was still entertained.

Aaron Eckhart can sure play an a-hole well.
