A Peaceful Warrior for Nick Nolte

Nick Nolte (The Hulk, Hotel Rwanda) will star in Peaceful Warrior, the adaptation of Dan Millman's inspirational memoir "Way of the Peaceful Warrior". The Hollywood Reporter says the project begins filming this week in Los Angeles.
Victor Salva, whose credits include the "Jeepers Creepers" movies, is directing the film from a screenplay by Kevin Bernhardt, Anthony DiPietro and Bob Dolman.
Scott Mechlowicz (Mean Creek) stars in the drama as a top student and gymnast who meets a mysterious older man, to be played by Nolte. He nicknames the older man, who leads him on a spiritual quest, Socrates.
The cast also includes Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect), Agnes Bruckner (Blue Car), Ashton Holmes (the upcoming A History of Violence) and Paul Wesley (the upcoming Cloud Nine).
