Anthony Davis didn't play on Monday night in the New Orleans Pelicans' 112-103 loss to the Golden State Warriors, missing his seventh-straight game due to back spasms. Many expected Davis to land with the Los Angeles Lakers before the trade deadline this season, too — a saga that was played out publicly for weeks, if not months. Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry praised Davis after the game on Tuesday night, but he made it clear he wasn't happy with how the situation played out — especially after realizing that the Pelicans have no more games left to play this season.
