The Pelicans play at the Suns tonight with a 6:30 p.m. Arizona start time. Can the Suns make it two in a row after their win against the Lakers?

The Suns are 5-7 from three point range with 6:10 in the 1st quarter. Tucker has three of them and Booker has two. Tucker has not missed a shot.

Edit: one of Booker's three point shot has been ruled a 2.

Barbosa is playing well again. He seems to have a positive influence on the offense as a whole when he's out there. Not that he's solely responsible for it but I think it helps having a solid veteran guard out there, something the Suns haven't really had in years.

I feel the same about Barbosa but I was also thinking the same about Tyson Chandler with 14 points and 16 rebounds. He has been solid influence for the Suns as well.

Our veterans are good influences with the exception of Tucker. I don't know why he still sees as many minutes as he does. Hopefully once Warren returns we can get Tucker out of Phoenix. Between Warren, Dudley, Chriss, Bender, Chandler, and Len we should be fine in the frontcourt. Booker can play SF in small ball lineups as well. Let Derrick Jones and Williams see some time if any of our starters go down with injuries.

I think Tucker plays as hard as nails but I believe the Suns should move on as well. It's not because he is a bad influence but I believe the Suns should look towards the future. When the Suns realize they are not going anywhere, I think he should be traded to a playoff team.

Tucker blew that play on defense not covering that drive to the basket.

Bledsoe dribbles out the clock before missing. The game goes to overtime, 110-110.

I wish Bledsoe would have drove on that shot rather than settling for an outside shot.

I was disappointed on that decision. I mean that's our go to play for the game winning shot???

I was disappointed the Suns were satisfied with this type shot but Bledsoe has had a good game. It's hard to argue the point.

Tough loss. It looked like the Suns had control of the game in the first half.

I was ok with that since it was only to win in regulation, they didn't call time out or anything to draw up something better, hoping to catch NO off guard. It's one of those plays where if it works it was really smart on Bledsoe's part but it didn't so he'll get beat up some for it. Overtime losses are the best outcome for the team, IMO. It shows we can compete with whoever we're playing but ultimately get more pingpong balls. Also gives our guys an extra 5 minutes.

Just gotta keep believing in the ridiculous notion that this will be a playoff team in two years. Happy thoughts.

That definitely seemed a play that came from the sideline. Watson told Bledsoe to just iso and dribble it out rather than risking turning it over I guess.

I can't ever imagine any coach like Pop, Kerr, Budenholzer etc that values ball movement to run something like that at the end

I think you are right, it was a sideline call because there was no attempt to pass the ball.

I agree about the ping pong balls but I don't think dribbling the ball out front is going to catch any team off-guard.
