With everything else going on last night it has been lost how few penalties we had last night(2). This is strange as we played so many people who aren't on the field so much. I hope it is a sign that we are finally turning the corner on this persistent problem.

Cardsloco, next to Leinart's performance, it was probably the night's highlight, as far as the Cards are concerned.

I think it is kinda sad that our best players are the ones who make the dumbest mistakes. Not a good sign when your 4th string plays with more discipline than your first. Dockett, Pope, Q and AW all rank in the top 5 at their positions in penalties.

While it was hard to see all the blocking action via the TV camera, it seemed as if the officials were pretty liberal in ignoring several minor holding calls by Denver which invariably would slow the penetrating Cardinal defender just enough to allow the Bronco RB to reach the hole and cut back into it.

Maybe the officials were just "allowing the game to be played without disruption" more than usual Fri. night.

Anybody else notice that?
