Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang will be out for at least six weeks because of a stroke. Penguins general manager Ray Shero announced Friday that Letang had a stroke last week. ''I hope that by making my condition public at this time, I can help other people by encouraging them to seek medical help if they experience some of the symptoms associated with a stroke - regardless of their age or general health,'' the 26-year-old Letang said. After being a Norris Trophy finalist last season, he has 10 goals - matching a career high - and 18 assists in 34 games this season for the Eastern Conference-leading Penguins.
