Penguins center Jordan Staal is recovering from foot tendon surgery, and it will be decided at game time Thursday night if he can play against the Montreal Canadiens in Game 4. Pittsburgh right wing Bill Guerin has an undisclosed injury and is expected to miss a second straight game in this Eastern Conference semifinal.
