Better off silent
Just as a final send-off to Penny, this was what he has posted on his website:
Don't know if I expected him to be so cordial to Phoenix or not...
Wow,
How fast things can change in your life. I was coasting along trying to contribute all that I could to the Suns and in a wink of an eye, I'm a Knick. I am in New York. A private plane was sent for us and Stephon and I are flying off to New York, the Media Capital of the world. The heartbeat of the world. I am still in shock but also excited. I have a ton of work to do but that's my life.
Boy, this organization is incredible. I am in awe of all of the changes. I loved the desert, with it's calmness and laid back approach to life, but there is something to be said for the hustle and bustle of this great city. It is thriving with constant energy. I keep taking deep breaths to calm myself.
It is also very encouraging to be on a team that will be making a run towards the playoffs and I know we can do it. I am sad for all the friends and people that I am leaving behind in Phoenix. The Suns has a great group of people that were extremely helpful to me and my family. We just finalized a great Christmas party that would not have been as successful without their help and I'd like to thank them for all their hard work.
With that all said, Let's Go Knicks- We've Got Some Games To Win. Stephon and I are ready to go. We will be on National Television week for you all to see, BE SURE AND WATCH- I think you will like what you see.
Don't know if I expected him to be so cordial to Phoenix or not...
