The injuries that derailed Penny in his time with Phoenix seemed to lead to the perception of him as nothing more than an overpaid, injury-prone has-been. This season he appeared to be playing much better after working hard all summer, and there were many games where his time on the court had a huge positive effect. He didn't seem to mind coming off the bench and set a good example for the young players in many ways......an important veteran presence. I sincerely hope he gets a chance to prove himself as a valuable player in New York. Thanks for the link.
