Pens' Staal to return for Winter Classic (AP)

Penguins forward Jordan Staal will play in the Winter Classic against Washington, making his season debut after recovering from an infected right foot and a broken right hand. Staal participated in the pregame skate Saturday at the Consol Energy Center and said he would play in the outdoor game at Heinz Field.
