Here's a roundup of Pensacola-area high school sporting events for the week of April 14-19.

Milton 7, Gulf Breeze 5: The Panthers pulled off the upset in the District 1-5A semifinals against the Dolphins.
Both teams plated two runs in the third inning before Gulf Breeze took a 4-2 advantage after the fourth frame. Milton tied the game in the top of the sixth. The Dolphins regained the lead with a run in the bottom of the sixth. Milton plated three runs in the top of the seventh and held on for the victory.
Brayden Barrow tallied two hits, a single and a double, with two RBIs and a run for Milton. Cade Burdette singled and doubled with a run and an RBI. Harley Messer added a hit, two runs and an RBI. Clive Pack posted a hit and an RBI. Parker McCoy also singled. Emmerick Wortman plated three runs.
Saylor Melton, in the win, recorded five strikeouts in five innings, allowing four runs (three earned). Barrow, in two innings, fanned one batter and allowed one unearned run.
Roman Jackson led Gulf Breeze with two hits, including a home run, plus three RBIs and a run. Presley Moseley singled twice with an RBI. Kade Rollins added two hits with a double. Parker Boyd singled with a run. Tanner Owens had a double with two runs. Tommy Regan and Javier Mercado both singled. Ky Cook plated a run.

Northview 15, Laurel Hill 0: The Chiefs rolled over the Hoboes in the district playoffs.
Northview plated six runs in the first inning, three in the second, two in the third and four more in the fourth to end the game early.
Bryant Mason led Northview with two hits, including a triple, plus three RBIs and two runs. Kelan Jury tacked on two hits, three RBIs and a run. Jase Portwood tallied a single and a double with an RBI and two runs. Brady Smith singled twice with two runs. Dane King had a hit, two runs and an RBI. Graydon Sheffield singled with two runs. Gauge Harrison had a hit and a run. Jayden White and Colby Pugh both singled. Kobi Fiorenti, Luke Chavers and Taylor Curtis plated runs. Cole Davis and Curtis added RBIs.
White struck out seven batters in 3 2/3 innings, allowing just one hit. Jason Bridges recorded 1/3 of an inning on the mound.
Northview (11-11) plays Jay on Tuesday in the District 1-Rural semifinals at 4 p.m.
South Walton 24, Pensacola 1: The Tigers fell in the District 1-3A semifinals to the top-seeded Seahawks.
South Walton got off to a hot start with 14 runs in the first inning and six more in the second before Pensacola erased the shutout with a run in the top of the third. The Seahawks plated four more runs in the bottom of the third frame.
Pensacola was no-hit in the game.
Logan Rothe, in the loss on the mound, recorded 2/3 of an inning, allowing 13 runs. Amilliyun Foster, in two innings, struck out two batters and allowed 11 runs (three earned). Cameron Hamilton recorded 1/3 of an inning with a strikeout.
Pensacola's season ends with an 11-11 record.
Pensacola Catholic 7, Freeport 0: The Crusaders threw a one-hitter over the Bulldogs in the District 1-2A semifinals.
All of Pensacola Catholic's runs came early with four runs in the first inning and three more in the second. From there, pitchers prevailed.
Carter McCammon led Pensacola Catholic with two its, including a double, plus two runs and two RBIs. Colton Guillot singled and doubled with two runs. Lane Grissett tacked on a pair of singles with a run and an RBI. Ben Bates doubled with a run and an RBI. Jalen Moton added a double with a run. Davy Bradley singled with an RBI. Drew Collins also had a hit.
Gabe Mercado threw a complete game with seven strikeouts in seven innings, allowing just the one hit.
Pensacola Catholic (11-12) takes on top-seeded Bozeman in the district championship on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Niceville 14, Pine Forest 1: The Eagles' season ended in the District 1-5A semifinals against Niceville.
Niceville plated three runs in the first inning, four in the second and two more in the third before Pine Forest erased the shutout in the top of the fourth. Niceville plated five more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With a silent fifth inning, the game ended early.
Jeremy Whiting doubled for Pine Forest, while Antonio Booker and Al Leatherwood both singled. Caleb McWilliams plated the Eagles' lone run.
Sthevens Coa Gamarra, on the mound, recorded four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings, allowing 11 runs (10 earned). Whiting, in 1/3 of an inning, allowed three runs.
Pine Forest's season ends with a 1-24-1 record.
West Florida 8, Walton 1: The Jaguars won in the district semifinals over the Braves.
West Florida plated two runs in the first and second inning before Walton scored its lone run in the top of the fourth frame. From there, the Jaguars scored a run in the bottom of the fourth, two in the fifth and another in the sixth to close out the game.
Jayden Thomas led West Florida with two hits, including a triple, plus three RBIs. Adam Geiger added two singles and three runs. Grayson Phillips singled with a run and an RBI. Ashton Bailey had a hit with two runs. Owen Morgan added a hit and two RBIs. Dax Robbins singled with an RBI. Gabe Venable also tallied a hit. Keelan Boyd and Collin Clarke plated runs.
Jordan Hosman earned the win on the mound with nine strikeouts in six innings, allowing one unearned run. Robbins recorded one inning on the mound.
West Florida (22-3) plays top-seeded South Walton on Thursday at 6 p.m. for the District 1-3A championship.
Booker T. Washington 48, Escambia 0: The Wildcats posted a dominant shutout in the District 1-2A quarterfinals over the Gators.

Escambia's season ends with an 0-8 record. Booker T. (9-2) plays Fort Walton Beach on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the semifinals.
Pine Forest 31, Pensacola 12: The Eagles prevailed in the District 1-2A playoffs over the Tigers.
Pine Forest led 13-0 after the first quarter before tallying a touchdown in the second and third frames. Pensacola started to fire back with 12 points in the final stanza but Pine Forest held on with one more touchdown in the last quarter.

Both Lainey Durden (5 goals, 1 assist) and Lacey Riley (3 goals, 3 assists) led Navarre with six points apiece. Rozlyn Palmer (2 goals, 3 assists) and Lauren Mavity (1 goal, 4 assists) added five-point games. Marialys Dekom (3 goals, 1 assist) and Blakeley Marshall (2 goals) had multi-point nights as well. Kerry Mavity tallied a goal.

Pine Forest 19, Aletheia Christian 18: The Eagles won a high-scoring affair over the Lions.
Pine Forest led 3-1 before Aletheia took an 8-6 advantage after two innings. The Lions remained in the lead, 10-7, following the third frame. Pine Forest tied the game after the fourth, 14-14, before Aletheia tallied two runs in the top of the fifth. Pine Forest tied the game, again, in the sixth, 17-17. Altethia scored once in the top of the seventh before Pine Forest walked it off in the bottom of the inning with a pair of runs.

Gulf Breeze 20, Destin 2: The Dolphins won in dominant fashion over the Sharks.
It started as a close game with Gulf Breeze leading, 2-1, after the first inning before taking a 4-2 advantage after the third frame. The Dolphins exploded for 16 runs in the top of the fifth inning to end the game early.
Sydney Hersom led Gulf Breeze with three hits, three runs and three RBIs. Kennedy Craft singled three times with two runs and an RBI. Jasmine Johnson doubled twice with two runs and two RBIs. Taylor Keown had two hits, including a triple, plus three RBIs and two runs. Jessica Jagar singled twice with two runs. Kylie Reed hit a home run with two runs and two RBIs. Jacey Reed singled with two RBIs and a run. Sally Alberson had a hit with four runs and an RBI. Ariana Mercado plated a run.
