The newly formed Peoria City women's soccer team is scheduled to play nine games in its inaugural Women's Professional Soccer League season, the team revealed Tuesday after the WPSL announced the schedules for 150-plus squads across the nation.
The women open the season May 16 on the road in Indianapolis. The first of five expected home games is scheduled for May 24.

The USL2 overall has 150-plus teams set for the 2025 season, broken into four regions and multiple conferences and divisions.

The roster also includes four from the University of Illinois, five from Illinois State, three from Illinois Wesleyan and three from Heartland Community College. Both the men’s and women’s team rosters are online at peoriacitysoccer.com.
