Georgia LB Jarvis Jones (spine) was given a clean bill of health by doctors ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine. The medical report will be sent to teams Thursday, which is expected to solidify his standing as a Top 10 pick in the NFL Draft.

Take this for what it is worth. If this is true, Jones is a top 10 guy.

I had heard that he would clear medically. I just don't understand. If the reports were true that he had a narrowing of the spine, how does that go away?

Hopefully he's there at 7.

I wouldn't be shocked if Jacksonville took him at #2. Fits a need, and Bradley worked well in Seattle with a lesser version in Bruce Irvin.

agreed. We desperately need OL help. There are at least 3 worthy of our pick in Joeckel, Warmack and Fisher. There's no Levi stretching. Just serious talent

I'm extremely impressed with a lot of players heading into this draft. Maybe because there's no Lucks or similar, the QB blinders aren't on, but it seems quite thick at almost every other position

This is the one player I wouldn't mind us taking that isn't an O-lineman. This is the next Von Miller type player.

The problem is that we have a need at the Guard position and have two guys we can't get rid of because of the ridiculous contracts the Cards gave them.

I'm not concerned at all with having Levi Brown and Robert Massie as our Tackles or Sendlein at Center. In fact with Grimm gone I don't think Offensive line talent is such a great need that you pass on a superior talent at another position.

Switch Acho to Injuredfield's position on the strong side and plug Jones in for Acho behind Campbell and the Cards finally have a defense that could be among the 2-3 best in the NFL.
