wilson pro bowl???i think daryl washington deserve it much more...this vote should be made by experts and not fans..i saw freeney selected(played 15 games with 18 tackles??wtf?))???campbell de in 3/4 defense 71 tackle 8 sacks 10 pass deflection 3 blocked field goal an interception not even an alternate...daryl washington 95 tackle(85 solo) 2interception 4 sack 10 tackle for loss 8 pass deflected NADA

I told you guys about 4-5 weeks ago CC wouldn't make it. As good as he's played he's listed as a DE & regardless of the fan vote, other big names who play the 4-3 with more stats will get voted in almost always over a 3-4 DE.
IMO Pro Bowl berths mean jack squat anymore anyways. Hopefully this doesn't discourage #93 when his possible new contract comes up.

They're listed as DE's but don't they take majority of their snaps at DT?Why the hell do guys like Dockett and Smith get listed as DTs?
Wilson did not play very well over the first half of the season but when utilized correctly during the second half he made himself absolutely deserving of the pro-bowl.
Fitz is an easy in.
Peterson is the guy I can't believe made it. Not that he didn't deserve it. I just can't believe he beat out Hester.
Campbell will rarely make a pro-bowl playing the position he plays. Now that he's made a name for himself this year though, I can see him squeaking in sometime in the near future.
Washington had to make a name for himself too this year (not saying that's right...just the way it is). Now that people are aware of him he should be "eligible" to make it for years to come.
I'm very pleased Dockett was recognized. He has to play a much more disciplined position in the Cards new scheme and it's nice to see that style of play rewarded. And I might add, that as long as he is listed as a DT, he will continue to have a very good shot at making pro-bowls over the next few years.

Campbell was robbed. He will get added IMO.

Once CC gtes the rep around the league, he'll make it. Look for him to make it next year if he continues at a high level. Richard Seymour has made multiple pro bowls playing from a 3-4 DE. If the Cards win more than he'll get recognized too. Look at SF and their 8 pro bowlers. If they were 7-9, they'd have maybe 2-3 tops.

Guys, Campbell will have a hard time of ever making it to a pro bowl. Aaron Smith, arguably the best 3-4 DEs in recent times (though not any more) only ever made 1. That speaks volumes about how screwed 3-4 DEs get. Do not expect Campbell to make a pro bowl any time soon with us.

Precisely. Wilson didn't make the probowl in 2005 the year he had 8 sacks and one of his best overall seasons. Didn't have the reputation yet. But the recognition he got from that season enabled him to go 5 of the next 6 years.
No Dockett is listed as a DT while Campbell is listed as a DE; yet they are both 3-4 defensive ends.
The Pro Bowl is horse-****. The deserving don't get in, while undeserving do...
