Don’t Count Out the Cards

http://mmqb.si.com/2014/11/10/nfl-week-10-arizona-cardinals-detroit-lions/

Love this beauty:

8. The best rookie in football was the 91st pick by Arizona in the May draft, played for a college team with the nickname “Gorillas,” and caught the winning touchdown pass in the last eight minutes against San Diego, Philadelphia, and, on Sunday, St. Louis. John Brown of Pittsburg (Kans.) State, you’re the man.

The lead picture on the article is excellent with Dockett and Bowles in the background.

Props to Dockett. He is the head cheerleader every game, home or road. Most guys that get hurt have disengaged from the team by now. Not him.

Also, I have been thinking for a long time. Everybody is talking about Bowles for a Head Coach job. I wish the best for him, but I am selfish and hope he stays around at least another year. And if we can go deep into the playoffs, he will stay around, because teams won't wait that long to hire a coach. Happens every year that the assistants on the top 4 teams don't get jobs.

The Adieu Haiku (King's closing words):

The Cards: 8 and 1.
Even with Carson injured,
still NFC’s best.

The most shocking thing about this article is this little tidbit:
If the season ended this morning, Green Bay (6-3) wouldn’t be in the playoffs. True fact. Detroit (7-2) has them beat for the division, and Dallas (7-3) and Seattle (6-3 with the head-to-head tiebreaker over Green Bay) would be wild cards.
The Packers are the one team I fear the most in a playoff matchup.....well maybe now with Palmer out, I fear a few more teams...

Our remaining regular season schedule is such a bitch, I'm far from worried about potential playoff opponents.
