How can he be a generational talent when he is directly linked to his brother that is literally in the same generation and may not even be as good as?

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cards said this.

Hahah I thought the same thing

Or he could be even better than his brother. We don't know.Maybe the Cards feel Bosa would upgrade the defense more than they think the risk of Murray is worth.

Could he be better than his brother, of course he can. Can he be so good that he will be a once in a generation talent, I would wager all that I own against it. This has nothing to do with Bosa either, I'd happy if he were the #1 pick.

If that happens, Keim and the entire front office should be shown the door before pick 2 is announced. You don't let a guy with zero NFL coaching experience dictate your draft. Now, if a guy like Cowher or Parcells, somebody with a proven record, was hired, then I'd give some validity to their input. But a guy who was just fired from his alma mater with a losing record should have very minimal on the draft.
10,000% agree with what you said

Rosen was the QB Kingsbury was hired to develop. If he couldn't develop Rosen or, Josh didn't fit "his system", then he should have never been hired in the first place.

Are we sure that KK was hired to develop Rosen? Perhaps KK was hired because we had the #1 pick & Murray would be available to us? Right or wrong, we'll find out soon enough.

That would make it two years too late

I can't wait for this to be over. I think this is now the single most contentious argument that this website has ever seen.

I don't give a rats butt either way now. Take Murray, don't take Murray, Take Bosa, Take Williams.....just don't draft a punter or kicker #1 overall.

2008 Warner v. Leinart was a train wreck that got many of us banned. I contend to this day that that was the most contentious argument this board has ever seen

Az Cards believe Nick Bosa is a generational talent.Cards not totally committed to Murray.
The more I think about the #1 pick, if we don't make a trade, Q. Williams may be the better option? I know Bosa is talented & all that but big disruptive Defensive Tackles are hard to come by. We already have Chandler Jones & Suggs for another year or so. The Cardinals could always draft another edge rusher when Suggs decides to retire. Edge rushers come along every yr imo, more so than dominant DT's. If they draft Bosa then we'll have 3 edge rushers with no push up the middle. Question is Bosa a once in a lifetime edge rusher? If not then maybe the cardinals should pass on him? 49ers may take him & give us fits for the next 10 yrs though lol? If he stays healthy?

I wonder if Q.Williams would play DE instead of DT.Much like Bosa I think either can fill different roles in different packages.

Bosa can rush from outside or in. They'll vary the fronts.

If he doesn’t at least recoup a first-, a third- and a fifth round pick for Rosen, he should be relieved of his duties the second he lays down the telephone.

Also, I agree with everything you said.
Rosen wasn't worth a 1st rounder in the first place, much less a 1st, 3rd and 5th.
