Peterson to the Falcons

Mike Peterson signed with Atlanta today. He's a guy who i wanted the Cards to bring in.Oh well,Atlanta probably needed him more and Mike Smith is very familiar with him from his days in Jax.

Where would he have played in AZ? Coverage is his weakness so he couldnt take Dansbys spot, and he doesnt have the skill set for the outside. Were you thinking of him as competition for Hayes?

I think best case scenario for Peterson here would have been to take Beisel's spot. Not sure about his ability to play special teams but he'd be a better option than Beisel if Dansby or Hayes were to go down and you need someone to step in and play more than a couple of games. If of course he could stay healthy, which he's always struggled to do.
