Andy Pettitte pitched eight fantastic innings to win his fourth straight start and Jason Giambi homered twice, helping the New York Yankees get back on track with a 6-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Friday night. Andy Phillips hit a two-run double and Alex Rodriguez had an RBI double for the Yankees, who had lost three straight after winning nine of 10.
