Ugh.

The only real hope here is

1, The defence keeps trending up as it has been.

2, We play Jalen Hurts and this inspires Kyler to wake up.

Another smaller mobile QB that played for OU and Kyler wants to show he's the best small former OU QB.

A lot of Eagles offense has relied on their defense.

Picks, forced fumbles, short fields etc. I'm not saying their offense isn't good but it's really been built on the defense so far.

Offense really needs to step up and play better.

I'm worried about Hurts running the ball. While we've had some decent pressure (statistically) I feel we don't collapse the whole pocket which opens up running lanes for the QB.

Wonder if we use Simmons to spy? Anyone with some more defensive acumen than me have thoughts on a defensive scheme against a guy like this?

Oh yeah, we suck against running QB's. Especially on 3rd down.

Vance loves to drop linebackers into deep zones and leave a tonne of room to run.

Our front seven vs. their run offense is the ball game.

I trust Watt and Allen to play well. Gardeck and Dogbe are game, and they'll won't lose it for us. Collins? maybe...

But after that it's pretty worrisome. I don't think it's a great match up for us.

Does anyone know anything about their offensive line?

Their O line has been best in the league by many accounts

I would bet money we would beat them on the road.

Those 2nd half issues are going to catch up to the Eagles eventually.

But jeez can we stop being so awful on offense in the 1st half and awful at home.

-6 against a middle of the road team is a high number especially if the underdog is at home (I know Cardinals been bad at home last 8 games yet)

Yeah but this is like Vegas set the odds based on historical statistics (W/L record, Home/Away etc) and ignored the whole roster died in a plane crash.

The empirical evidence says we gonna get roasted.

I'd put -6 at like 95% odds of happening. Kyler might have multiple turnovers in this game the way he's been playing.

Kyler throwing an awful pass that is returned for a TD 3 minutes into the game isn't the fault of Kliff.

True that was totally on Kyler.

The irony is that's how the Eagles game started too, Hurts forced the ball into a coverage he misread it got picked and returned for a score.

On a positive note, our final 3 out of 4 games this season are on the road. If we are in the hunt for a playoff spot, I like our odds.

The problem is we play 3 straight home games right before that.

Overall the schedule is kind of odd this year. After 11 games, we are already done with divisional opponents except one more against SF the very final week.

The throw is on Kyler. Our offense being extremely shallow and predictable is largely on Kliff. When you run 5 yard routes over and over the defense will start to jump them.

Crazy how we look forward to road games. I don't ever recall a team so Jekyl and Hyde.

I remember last year when Chandler Jones was leading w 7 (5 sacks and 2 FF) combined sacks and FF after 4 weeks, but he did it all in 1 game vs Reddick who did it all in 2 games. That being said CJ also had 14 QB hits in those 4 games vs Reddick's 3. Lots of football left to play
