Phillies activate RHP Myers from DL (AP)

The Phillies have activated right-hander Brett Myers from the disabled list and outrighted three players to the minors. Philadelphia manager Charlie Manuel said Myers would be available out of the bullpen on Friday night, when Philadelphia opened a four-game series at Houston. The 29-year-old had hip surgery on June 4.
