Rockies scare the bejeezus out of me, but I think the Phillies take advantage of their home field and win in one of the highest scoring first rounds ever. I hope they win at least.

As a Phillies fan, I would much rather have had the team face the Padres than the Rockies.

Still, I'm thinking (hoping, perhaps) that the Phillies take the series. The hometown fans there have been insane.

BTW, it sucks that these games start at 3 p.m. EST. NO ONE is home from work by then.

Sure, I see no reason to hate the Rockies. The Dodgers or the Giants, sure, but why would you hate the Rockies? Just because they play in the same division as the D'backs? I hardly see any Dback v Rockies rivalry, its not like they've played heated, meaningful games against each other that I can recall.

The Rocks are playing some damn good baseball. Their lineup is sick, the bullpen has come together and Jiminez and Jeff Francis are solid front ends of a rotation. Very scary club, look forward to the battles we should have over the next decade.

Unfortunately or fortunately, as the case may be, neither of us will have to wind up cheering for the Phillies when they play the D'Backs BECAUSE THE PHILLIES ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO PLAY IN THE POST-SEASON!!!
