Phillies place RHP Robertson on IL with sore elbow

The Philadelphia Phillies placed right-hander David Robertson on the 10-day injured list Monday with a sore pitching elbow, one day after the veteran threw two scoreless innings against the Miami Marlins. After a rough start where he gave up at least run in each of his first three outings, Robertson was working on a run of four consecutive games without allowing anybody to score. Robertson, who signed a two-year, $23 million deal this past offseason, has a 5.40 ERA in seven appearances.
