MCW with 26 pts, 10 ast, 4 reb, 3 steals against Rose and the Bulls. Wow. We missed on this one. But so did alot of other people.

Yeah, Carter-Williams looks absolutely phenomenal.

MCW is looking really good, but considering the way he looked in SL and preseason I will wait at least another 5-10 games before conceding that he is actually this good.

Just shows how unpredictable the draft really is. I don't remember anyone here saying that the Suns should have taken MCW at 5. Of course if he keeps playing like that and it leads to more wins, then Philadelphia can forget about adding another superstar in next summer's draft.

I don't recall talk of taking MCW at #5 but there was talk about trading down.

I think our current scouts are quite good. I remember there being a fair amount of interest in MCW.

Philly wasn't that bad last year but I think we all assumed that trading Holiday was going to kick the bottom out. So far MCW has more than adequately replaced him, surprising almost everyone after his much less than stellar showings in SL and preseason. If he can keep it up they'll probably finish just shy of the playoffs again - or maybe down a bit from last year, depending on Noel.

I liked MCW but didn't have much game-film to judge by. His video by Draftexpress probably had me intrigued. I wanted to put him down on the Thread about the Suns Pick... but I had a dream who the Suns would Draft and I liked Len and Goodwin (was one of my favorites) so I picked Anthony Bennett, to not jinx things (for Pick on the Thread here). lol I'm guessing the Suns wouldn't of picked Goodwin had MCW been Drafted...

I remember I couldn't remember Len's last name at time of telling family of dream and I mentioned that I'd be happy with Draft, though Oriakhi wasn't my top 2nd Round choice but would be okay with both Alex's and especially Goodwin.

On Draft day, it freaked me out a little (that it materialized) but now I'm waiting for dream about possible next Trade. heh

Turner and Young have been playing like mad men too.
Turner might be looking for a new home next summer. if he keeps playing like this, I wouldn't mind seeing the Suns make a run at him. Draft Selden, sign Turner, and grab a couple of PF/C types with the remaining draft picks. Just might make playoffs next year.

Note:
No, I haven't really thought this through in great detail. Just a thought and a "How to rebuild QUICKLY" scenario #105.

Don't look now, but Orlando just beat the Clippers and just won 3 in a row after a 0-2 start.
