I think just about everybody would gladly trade our roster straight up for the Kings but it makes you wonder why they continue to be so bad.

Intangibles? People tend to underestimate the value of quality veteran leadership and high character players on your team. The Kings are a very young team with at least one major headcase and there's no one on the team to guide them.

And firing Westy instead of supporting him is probably going to set the stage for even more undisciplined play in Sacramento (or wherever they end up). He probably wasn't the perfect coach for that group but after the way they've handled this, I'm not sure if there is a perfect coach. If I were them I'd trade Cousins, Evans, Thompson and Hickson and pretty much start all over. I'm not saying they are all a problem but everyone on that team is probably a little tainted (except for Thornton).
