LeBron James is one of the most influential players in NBA history, if not one of the most influential athletes, ever. In a direct response to the way NBA basketball was covered, he and former player JJ Redick launched a podcast, Mind the Game, that aimed to break down the X's and O's of basketball in an entertaining way.

Shortly after, Redick was hired as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. James replaced Redick on the podcast with Steve Nash, who has already turned the podcast into a second career.

Nash played 18 NBA seasons, winning two MVPs during his 10 seasons with the Phoenix Suns. He averaged 16.3 points, 10.9 assists, and shot 43.7 percent from deep before 3-point shooting really took off.

He will join Amazon's NBA broadcast coverage next season alongside reporter Taylor Rooks and former NBA players Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki.

Nowitski and Nash shared the court together on the Dallas Mavericks from 1998-2004, and the German legend is looking forward to a reunion.

It's likely that Nash will be able to continue filming podcasts with James even with his new commitment to Amazon, although if he can't, James' Mind the Game will become a jumping point for former players and free agent coaching candidates to vault themselves back into NBA positions.

"LeGM" has already gotten two of his friends jobs back in the NBA, who's to say if Kevin Love or Chris Paul is next before they go on to start coaching careers of their own?
