I remember the team being fun to watch, horrible at defensive rebounding at times and giving up a ton of second chance points to opposing teams. I remember a team that lacked any kind of discipline on the defensive end and instead relied on defesive specialists like Raja to make up for it. I remember a team constantly playing guys out of position, playing zone to mask defensive weakness, slow down dribble penetration all for this flashy offense.
It was fun though to watch Nash in the open court. Dude was simply brilliant and I have never seen someone with his court vision. Some of those passes simply seemed impossible. There is no doubt that the offense was a force to be reckoned with but it was an experiment that never amounted to a title and couldn't be duplicated by even the architect as he moved on to other teams. It should be renamed the "Nash" system.
Good breakdown of the video by the way.
