Bowl performance doesn't really have anything to do with conference. I mean, I'm glad the Pac 10 went undefeated but I'd still rank them below the Big 12 and SEC.

I picked Ole Miss in this game, but Utah in the Sugar Bowl. Usually, the teams that are happiest to be there, and most motivated, win. These bowl games were letdowns for both Tech and Alabama. That's why I thought they were ripe for an upset.
