May as well get the potential Rose Bowl over now instead of January. If Ohio State comes out of this alive, the season gets real interesting. If it is a USC whooping of OSU, the Big Ten will lose out in the rankings, the rest of the year. A real yardstick game for the rest of the season.

I am in for fitty on USC giving 10 points. Too early to blow the wad.

Question for Shane. Are the points posted in the threads locked in or is it like Yahoo, who changes the odds all week and ends up screwing picks if one doesn't check 5 minutes before deadline?

I threw 400 on the Bucks . 10 1/2 is alot of points to give a defense as good as OSU's. I thought the line would be about 5-6.

I keep the points locked in. I know that lines can change generally through the week a 1/2 to point on either side. however it isnt fair to the guy who bet based on getting 10 points but isnt comfly with 9. So I leave them how they are.

I could wait to put up the poll till Friday but then not near as many people get a chance to bet.

I saw that this morning I wonder if it's legit or TOSU is trying to surprise USC.

They said Wells did light practice wednesday and then had a lot of pain Thursday and likely wouldn't play.

Hope he's healthy enough to go hate to see such a big game have such a key player missing.

Although there is a rumor on a UCLA board that a couple of SC players may have got themselves suspended for the game but nobody seems to know who or if it's legit.

FYI rumor confirmed ESPN is reporting at least one USC player was charged with a felony last weekend and is suspended. To be honest I have never heard of the guy so I don't think it's any starter(s).

Boy that Pete Carroll is a disciplinarian. ONe of his starting DB's is charged with felony resisting arrest and Pete punishes him by starting him but alternating him with another player. Didn't even bench him for say a half let alone the game.

So I guess the rumor was true that someone got in trouble, but assuming the player would be suspended was wrong.

Not that it has any impact on this game.

I think its pretty safe to say, even with the 4th qtr still to go, that the Trojans are gonna take this game.. So my question is, how much did I win? I have no idea how the points thing works, I dont gamble..
