This time, Chad Pinder provided the latest momentum-swinging home run for the slugging Oakland Athletics. Pinder hit a go-ahead, two-run shot and Stephen Piscotty and Marcus Semien also homered during a nine-run burst in the fifth inning as the A's clobbered the San Francisco Giants 15-3 Sunday for their fourth straight win. Piscotty matched his career high with five RBIs as the A's, with the best record in the AL, won for the 13th time in 15 games.
