For the second week in a row, Pitt entered the fourth quarter of a road game against an ACC opponent with a slim lead. Last week, Pitt was at Louisville, clinging to a 10-7 advantage after Ben Sauls made a 37-yard field goal with less than two minutes to play in the third quarter. Two plays later, Cunningham threw to tight end Josh Lifson, who made his first catch of the season for a go-ahead touchdown.
