Junior guard Ashton Gibbs has returned to play for No. 4 Pittsburgh after missing three games with an MCL injury in his left knee. Gibbs, the sixth-leading scorer in the Big East with a 16.3 average, went into Saturday's game against St. John's with 15 minutes left in the first half and the Panthers trailing 10-7.
