Pitt G Gibbs to declare for draft (AP)

Pittsburgh junior Ashton Gibbs will declare for the NBA draft, but he will not hire an agent during the process. Gibbs has until April 24 to formally apply and submit his NBA paperwork. As long as he doesn't hire an agent, he would have until May 8 to withdraw his name without losing his eligibility with the Panthers.
